In the increasingly diversified world of copyright, the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) had to modernise to meet the needs of customers and copyright owners. With new services and technologies under development, the time was ripe for the CLA to revive its brand from the ground up, to become the UK’s provider of choice for rights, content and licensing.
Following an extensive programme of research, we defined and differentiated the brand through a positioning that made a hearts-and-minds connection with internal and external audiences: Copyright. Made Simple.

Starting with a new logo, we rolled out CLA’s visual identity across website, print, stationery and exhibition materials. To support future marketing, we developed full brand guidelines, complete with brand language guide. Now CLA has an identity to reflect its strategy, accurately presenting its updated service offer to the world.
