Pentagon first approached VGROUP in 2012 and we’ve been working with the Group ever since. Operating in a fast-moving industry, their brand direction had changed, and it was time to define and realign future strategy, as well as create a dynamic logo and visual identity.

The custom logo symbol has two key shapes: 1) Forward arrows creating a ‘P’ for Pentagon supporting the ‘Go further’ rallying call, and 2) A circle representing global ecommerce. Typography was custom crafted with letter shapes and spacing adjusted to assist legibility and align with the symbol.
Using our BrandVision methodology we captured the essence of the business in a core insight – ‘Go Further’. This gave the brand scope to communicate externally – go global, go local, go bigger, go faster with Pentagon. And for internal rallying calls… go the extra mile, go together, let’s go Pentagon.
